Enrolment Information
Parents wanting their child to attend East Doncaster Secondary College in the current year are required to telephone the college and make an enrolment appointment. The College has an enrolment ceiling which restricts the total number students.
Parents are advised to check the details of our enroment criteria and principles outlining our “nearest neighbourhood school” policy as well as other relevant conditions before selecting East Doncaster Secondary College as the preferred school. In the interview the student will be asked about their personal goals and what they hope to achieve from their placement at the college. They will also be asked to bring a copy of their most recent school reports from their previous/current placement. For enrolment enquiries please call (03) 9842 2244.
Year 7 – 2013
The placement of Grade 6 students into Year 7 is a process controlled by the Eastern Metropolitan Region of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Placement forms are distributed and collated by the student’s primary school which then makes contact with the college seeking the placement. These placement forms are distributed in Term 2 and confirmed placements are offered early in Term 3.
The Year 7 Enrolment Timeline for 2013 has not yet been released. Please check back at this website as further details will be posted shortly.

Year 7 2013 Parent Information Night will be held on Tuesday 1 May 2012 at 7.00pm in The John Landy Centre. All prospective Year 7 Parents are welcome to attend. Bookings for this evening are not required.

We are currently rolling out our 1-to-1 computing program to students from Years 7-12. We have conducted evening sessions to distribute iPads to our Year 7 and 8 families. Each evening has been full of excitement and anticipation, especially for the students.
ALPHA registrations are now open. Please take time to read through the 2013 parent information document before registering.
The test will be held on the morning of Saturday 2 June at the college.
